Bright Dairy sources high-end milk powder from New Zealand
Synlait Milk started operation of its second milk powder plant in Canterbury, New Zealand, which will supply to the Chinese market through Bright Dairy Group.
The plant, which has the production capacity of 50,000 tonnes per year, mainly produces high-end infant formula milk powder Pure Canterbury.
Synlait Milk first plant, which is also equipped with 50,000-tonne annual capacity, currently produces whole milk powder, skimmed milk powder, dehydrated cream and special milk powder.
The Pure Canterbury milk powder has completed all its pre-sales procedures and will come into the market of China very soon.
