Vietnam's Hanoi Milk gross profit up 45 percent

 
 

Vietnam's Hanoi Milk, Vietnam's top dairy firm said it made a gross profit of VND1.33 trillion in the first 11 months of this year, a rise of 45 percent from the same period last year.

 

Hanoi Milk, the largest firm listed on Vietnam's main Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange, said in a statement that its un-audited net profit in the period reached VND1.2 trillion, 5.3 percent above the target for the whole of 2008.

 

It also said the revenue of January to November rose 25 percent from the same period last year to VND7.77 trillion.

 

The broker forecast Hanoi Milk's full-year net profit would hit VND1.29 trillion, above the company's target of VND1.14 trillion. Shares in Hanoi Milk were up 1.23 percent at VND82,500 on Monday (Dec 8), totalling the firm's value at VND877 million, the largest on the exchange.
