China to tighten grain market regulation

China will tighten regulation in the grain market in an effort to develop modernised grain distribution and ensure grain safety, said the State Grain Administration.

China will improve its state reserve management system for domestic soy and give more supports to state-owned grain enterprises

China is suggested to diversify channels for grain purchase and reserve. Aside from large state-owned companies, more market players will be brought into the grain distribution system.
