Fujian Sunner Development Co Ltd has planned to develop a broiler farm with supporting facilities in Pucheng county of Fujian province, which is designed to yield 120 million broiler chickens annually.

The project, which costs RMB2.7 billion (US$426 million) to build, is reckoned to be completed in about three years. The Pucheng county government promises to provide a matched land for the construction and operation of this project, according to an announcement from the company on December 12.

The Pucheng-based farm is Fujian Sunner  first expansion outside its base and will help enlarge the company's production size, it stated.
