China Broiler Weekly: Market stable as chicken product demand recovers (week ended Dec 13, 2011)
An eFeedLink Exclusive
Broiler prices were mostly stable.
AA broiler prices were stable to slightly higher, buoyed by a pickup in chicken product sales and tight broiler availability.
Day-old chick prices plummeted following the end of the pre-Lunar New Year restocking drive.
China breed broiler
Limited supplies and strengthening prices of chicken products held China breed broiler prices firm around current levels.
Day-old chick prices resumed slides amid flat replenishment interest.
Broiler market should continue to gain strength in the short term.
