Ukraine to export 27 million tonnes of grain

Ukraine is intending to export 27 million tonnes of grain for the current marketing year, according to the Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk.

"This marketing year, we are planning to export 27 million tonnes of grain,"the minister said.

According to him, "one tonne costs US$300, and this is US$8.5 billion." He underscored that "this is good business for the country, revenues of the currency balance."
