Vietnam to inspect Japan dairy products' quality
Huynh Le Thai Hoa, head of the city's Food Safety Department said that Ho Chi Minh City will inspect quality of all dairy products imported from Japan.
The move is taken after the news that Japanese authorities found that dairy products produced by local producer Meiji infested with radioactive materials.
The department will inspect all Meiji dairy products as well as other dairy products with Japanese origin.
In June, the department launched inspection campaign on foodstuffs imported from Japan after the Japanese authorities announced that some foodstuffs had been infested with radioactive leakage from Fukushima nuclear plant.
