US grain dealers put wheat, soy, corn security

After a bearish global supply and demand report from USDA, US Midwest grain dealers were taking protection on soft red winter wheat, soy and corn bids early on Friday (Dec 9).

CBOT futures were expected to fall on the bearish USDA ending stocks data.

Dealers said they were posting US$0.10-$0.20 per bushel protection on wheat, US$0.10-$0.15 per bushel on soy and US$0.05-$0.10 per bushel on corn.
