Petit Jean Poultry closes plant in Arkansas
US poultry processor Petit Jean Poultry will close its poultry processing plant in Danville, Arkansas on Jan 31.
The closure was due to a contract lost for deboned chicken with Tyson Foods as well as the economic slowdown.
The company had also closed its plant in Buffalo, Missouri, in August for the same reason.
