Brazilian soy production to lessen by 5.4%

 

 

Brazil's soy crop is expected to fall by 5.4%, according to the government's crop supply agency Conab.

 

The soy production is expected to fall from 71.29 million tonnes compared to 75.32 million tonnes.

 

In its third forecast of the 2011/12 grain crop, Conab also said that the corn crop would surge by 5% to 60.32 million tonnes from 57.51 million tonnes last year.
