China imports 379,000 tonnes of milk powder in Jan-Oct
China imported a total of 379,000 tonnes of milk powder between January and October of this year, the Ministry of Commerce said.
In October alone the country imported 38,000 tonnes of milk powder.
Meanwhile, Inner Mongolia's Hohhot city will see its milk production reach 3.35 million tonnes in 2011, 9.8% more than the same period of 2010, the local government reported.
