Market analysis

While hog prices showed signs of stabilising in recent weeks, piglet demand continued to remain slack due to high piglet prices and expensive feed costs.

Market forecast

Surging production costs and hog market volatility present rearing risks for farmers next year, keeping their replenishment interest low in the short run.
