China's Sichuan sees 1.1% growth in grain output
 

 

Southwest China's Sichuan province has produced 36.7 billion kg of grain so far this year, up 1.1% or 392 million kg from 2010, sources reported.

 

The figure marks the fifth consecutive year of growth.

 

Meanwhile, East China's Jiangxi province saw its grain output exceed 20.5 billion kg so far this year, 5% more than a year earlier, according to the local government.
