Sharp fall in China lysine prices as buyers turn cautious
 
 
Lysine prices dropped prominently during the week ending December 6.
 
Demand for lysine softened as feed millers withheld buying after securing some supplies. Meanwhile, export demand weakened as well as Chinese products have increased substantially in prices, becoming less competitive in the global market.

Price quotes of 70-percent lysine were at RMB8.50-10/kg.
