Ukrainian grain export reaches 6.9 million tonnes

Ukraine exported 6.9 million tonnes of grains as of December 1, according to Alexander Demidov, a representative from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

In particular, corn exports totalled 2.8 million tonnes, wheat nearly 2.1 million tonnes and barley 1.8 million tonnes, said Demidov.

He stressed that during the term of export duties activity Ukraine exported nearly 20,000-30,000 tonnes of grains per day. Currently, the export rates reach the level of 100,000 tonnes per day.
