Market analysis
Prices continued to fall as at mid-week. Price quotes of some producers have fallen below the breakeven level.
As of Dec 2, general offer prices of locally-produced lysine were in the range of RMB10.40-10.70/kg. Transacted prices were between RMB10.20-10.50/kg.
Prices of 65-percent locally-produced lysine were between RMB6.00/kg and RMB6.30/kg.
Prices of deals concluded for 65-percent lysine produced by CJ Corp were at RMB6.10-6.40/kg.
As for imported lysine, transacted prices by traders were between RMB10.90-11.20/kg.
