Xinjiang's 3,000-head high-yield dairy farm comes on stream
With an investment of over RMB30 million, Xiyuchun Dairy Co Ltd has completed and started operating its 3,000-head high-yield dairy cattle farm in Hutubi, Changji, Xinjiang province. The company is building another modern dairy farm of the same size, which is slated for completion by the end of this year.
Jinluo constructs 500,000-head hog base in Inner Mongolia
Jinluo Meat Products Group Co Ltd's new hog rearing base recently broke ground in Tongliao, Inner Mongolia. Upon completion, the base is expected to output 500,000 hogs every year.
Hero-Huishan infant milk powder plant in Liaoning nears completion
A RMB4-billion high-end infant formula milk powder production line, jointly invested by Huishan Dairy and Switzerland-based infant nutrition company Hero Group, is set to go into operation by year-end in Faku county, Shenyang, Liaoning.
Upon completion, the 800-mu plant, which began construction in 2009, will be able to produce 80,000 tonnes of infant milk powder products each year with "Hero Huishan" brand.
Tianyuan's 200,000-tonne feed mill commences operation in Hebei
Shandong Tianyuan Feed Co Ltd's 200,000-tonne feed mill located in Daming county, Handan of Hebei, recently began operation. The 35-mu facility, which costs RMB110 million to build, is expected to rake in RMB388 million in annual sales revenue and RMB14 million in profits when full capacity is reached.
Shandong's RMB14.49-million modern dairy base starts work
Five dairy enterprises, including Weifang Baoli Animal Husbandry and Changle Benji Dairy Farming Cooperative, have jointly invested RMB14.49 million to set up a modern agricultural dairy base Changle, Weifang, Shandong province.
Its completion will push Changle county's total dairy cattle inventories to 19,800 with an added milk output of 13,000 tonnes, fetching over RMB56 million in annual economic benefits.
CP Group opens RMB13-million breeder hog farm in Henan
Henan CP Group recently put into operation a RMB13-million breeder hog farm in Mengjin county, Luoyang city of Henan. The 25-mu farm has an inventory of 700 hogs and an annual output capacity of 10,000 piglets to be supplied to CP Group's commercial hog farms.
