Bulgarian corn harvest reaches 2.07 million tonnes

Bulgaria harvested 2.07 million tonnes of corn 99.18% of the sown area, according to the country's Agriculture Ministry.

It was harvested from 99.18% of the sown area, 122,000 tonnes more than a year earlier.

The fields sown with corn in the country have been increasing in the last three years, to reach some 376,000 hectares (ha) this year, the ministry said.
