Ukrainian grain exports increase by 1.68 million tonnes

 

 

As of November 28 (Mon), Ukraine has exported 6.81 million tonnes of grain, 1.68 million tonnes more compared to the same period last year from the start of the agricultural year (July 2011-June 2012), according to the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry.

 

This figure is 4.44 million tonnes less than in the same period of the 2009-2010 agricultural year.

 

Ukraine had also exported 2.14 million tonnes of wheat (1.16 million tonnes for food and 985,000 tonnes for forage), 1.84 million tonnes of barley and 2.76 million tonnes of corn.
