Further surge in China lysine prices despite increased availability

Lysine prices continued to rise during the week ending November 28.

Prices of lysine continued to surge, albeit at a much slower pace while supplies from several producers increased. However, with the availability of raw ingredients limited and the transport schedule tight, lysine products remained scarce in most parts of China.

Meanwhile, Ajinomoto lifted its prices quotes for lysine by 15% during the period in review.
