Marel shares high-tech knowledge at Poultry ShowHow in Denmark
Marel Stork Poultry Processing has just concluded its first Poultry ShowHow in Denmark, this month.
Processors from countries such as the UK, Poland, France, Romania, Turkey, Russia, Colombia and Australia, congregated at Marel's Progress Point demo center in Copenhagen for an informative day of product launches, live demonstrations and knowledge sessions.
Participants were given an in-depth presentation of the most advanced solutions that Marel Stork has to offer currently.
Showcases featuring working portioning, grading, batching, packing and labeling lines provided a unique hands-on experience. Real-life systems and software solutions offered Marel's outlook on the future of poultry processing.
In addition, Marel Stork specialists delivered presentations concerning smart product allocation, value-added fillet processing and smooth order handling. Two external speakers, Nan-Dirk Mulder (Rabobank) and Shai Barbut (University of Guelph) gave new perspectives about the poultry industry.
All activities were focused on the theme 'From Complex to Relax'. The event sought to raise processors' confidence that daily complex productions can be perfectly managed. This can be realised through integrated line solutions that help to reduce the intricacy of the poultry production process.
Arie Tulp, Marel Stork's marketing and sales director, was very satisfied with the outcome of the event.
"In Copenhagen, we could pay much more attention to our customers than we usually can at trade shows. That's why we feel our Poultry ShowHow is so significant and valuable to all participants," Tulp said. "We were pleased to share our high-tech knowledge and to be able to exchange experiences with our customers in such a highly focused setting. All attendants expressed that this Poultry ShowHow was a very enlightening and useful event."
Due to the success of the event, Tulp revealed that Marel might plan a second Poultry ShowHow in 2017.
