Russian food experts inspect German dairy plants, hog farms
German dairy plants and hog farms that supply their products to the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia are inspected by the Belarusian and Russian food safety experts.
The inspections, which started on November 24 and will draw to a close on December 2, are conducted in the German state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, according to Russian food safety watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor. The inspections follow October's visit to Germany by Russian experts, who studied whether the country's food safety standards meet the Customs Union's regulations.
