China methionine prices consolidate lower as buyers withhold buying
Prices of methionine moved lower during the week ending November 22.
As the prices of broiler continued to slide, poultry feed producers limited output while holding back purchases of methionine with inventories sufficient.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine slid to the range of RMB26-26.50/kg, mostly lower by RMB00.40/kg.
Demand for methionine is expected to stay soft.
