Malaysia cancels pig farm project
A modern pig farm planned for Bukit Selambau has been cancelled on the advice of the Veterinary Department, said Kedah Minister Datuk Seri Azizan Abdul Razak.
The Department had found the area to be unsuitable for the project as it is surrounded by woods and has a substantial population, said Azizan.
The project was approved by the Barisan Nasional government last December.
