Buying interest was weak as most buyers generally have sufficient inventories on hand.
As of November 19, ex-factory quotes and general market transacted prices of locally produced vitamin D3 were RMB50/kg and RMB53/kg respectively. Transacted prices of imported vitamin D3 remained stable, with those for BASF between RMB85/kg and RMB92/kg, and those by DSM registering RMB100-108/kg or higher.
Near-term prices are likely to remain soft amid ample supplies and weak demand.
