Beyond Meat's plant-based minced pork launches in China
United States-based Beyond Meat launched its new plant-based minced pork in China, looking to benefit from the increased demand for its products in the Asian market, Reuters reported.
The company's new Beyond Pork will be available at five Shanghai restaurants for now.
In June, Beyond Meat said it will start retail sales for its flagship plant-based burger patties in mainland China. Its products will be distributed at Freshippo markets owned by the Alibaba Group.

In October, Beyond Meat's competitor Impossible Foods launched its plant-based beef burgers in Hong Kong and Singapore grocery store, and is waiting for Chinese regulator approval for its products to be sold in China.
