The European Commission has launched a new tool that will help farmers and interested parties make informed choices.

Called the "agriculture dashboards", the online tool offers full access to all available market data, such as EU prices of main dairy products, through a single page.

Commissioner Phil Hogan, who presented the dashboards to EU agriculture ministers on Monday, Nov. 16, said, "The EU agri-food sector is ready to meet the growing world demand. Our challenge as policymakers is to give our farmers and agri business the tools and freedom to be all they can be."

The dashboards cover such sectors as dairy, beef, cereals, pig meat and poultry. The dashboards are updated almost daily based on the latest national, European and international data.
