Improved demand, rising corn costs support China lysine prices
Lysine prices stayed firm during the week ending November 17.
After the recent round of price cuts, lysine demand improved as feed millers stocked depleted inventories. While sales increased producers held prices firm as rising corn costs lifted output expenses.
Price quotes of 70-percent lysine were in the range of RMB4.20-4.30/kg respectively.
