Ukraine threshes 54.7 million tonnes of grains

Ukraine has threshed 54.68 million tonnes of grain as of November 16 (wed).

Grains and legumes are collected from 14.88 million hectares, or 97% of the forecast. The average yield capacity of these crops throughout the country is 36.7 tonne/ha after 28.4 tonne/ha last year.

Output of corn by the reporting date amounted to 19.09 million tonnes from 3.01 million ha (87% of the forecast). Its average yield capacity is 61.1 tonne/ha after 45.8 tonne/ha in 2010.

As of November 16, Ukraine has threshed almost 2.23 million tonnes of soy from 1.1 million hectares (98% of the forecast). Its average yield capacity is 20.3 tonne/ha, after 16.1 tonne/ha in 2010.
