Hatchery tops agenda at Aviagen Anadolu customer seminar

Aviagen® Anadolu recently held a hatchery seminar in Istanbul, Turkey, which was attended by 49 delegates, representing most of the Turkish customer base.

Topping the agenda for the successful event were the problems that are frequently encountered within hatcheries and the means to resolve them as well as the basics of incubation.

Speakers from the Aviagen Hatchery Working Group covered topics such as incubation temperatures, set and hatch timings, investigating hatchery issues and egg break-outs, ventilation, planning and increasing hatchery capacity, and looked at the past and ahead to the future of hatcheries.

Participants particularly enjoyed the opportunity to discuss their questions and issues with members of the Aviagen Hatchery Working Group.

The meeting was followed by a dinner where customers mingled with the Aviagen and Aviagen Anadolu teams.
