Belarus to export dairy products to Russia
 

 

A preliminary agreement for Belarus to export 3.7 million tonnes of dairy products and 220,000-280,000 tonnes of sugar to Russia in 2012 has been reached, Agriculture and Food Minister Mikhail Rusy reported on Tuesday (Nov 15).

 

Belarus is to export a total of 3.6 million tonnes (milk equivalent) of dairy products to Russia this year, he said. Rusy said that Belarus was expected to produce between 580,000 and 590,000 tonnes of sugar in 2012, and that his ministry was satisfied with Russia's quota for dairy imports from Belarus.
