Albalact's nine-month profit rises by 47%
Romanian dairy farm Albalact announced that its nine-month profit was increased by 47% on the year to RON3.5 million (US$1.08 million).
The company's turnover rose by 34% on the year to RON246.1 million (US$77.6 million) in the January-September period.
Albalact's revenues rose by 44% on the year in the first nine months of 2011 to RON282.2 million (US$88.9 million), it added.
"By the end of the year, we will complete our new investments in the production lines at the Oiejdea plant, but also at Raraul plant, because next year we intend to develop our product portfolio and enter new categories," Albalact general manager Raul Ciurtin said.
