China Grain Reserves Corporation procures rice and corn in Heilongjiang
According to Harbin Xinhua website, the China Grain Reserves Corporation (Heilongjiang branch) started purchasing rice and corn for the national granaries since November 5. The appointed warehouses in Heilongjiang have put up public notices, stating their procurement plans and the terms and conditions.
To ensure farmers' profits, the State Council had appointed China Grain Reserves Corporation to procure a total of 5 million tonnes of corns and 4 million tonnes of rice from the northeastern region and Inner Mongolia. 2.4 million tonnes of rice and 1.3 million tonnes of corn would be purchased from Heilongjiang.
