Azerbaijan's meat prices break record
Azerbaijan's retail meat price record has been broken, exceeding US$19 per kilogramme during Gurban holiday.
Azerbaijani sources have reported that meat was sold for AZN15 (US$19.08) per kilogramme during Gurban holiday in the country's second city (Ganja).
The source said the reason for such a high price in this agricultural region was not indicated.
Under the exchange rate during holidays, meat price in Ganja was US$19.06 which is the record for all the country history.
