Ukraine's grain export exceeds twofold
Ukraine's grain export increased by more than twofold at the start of November 2011 as compared to the same period last month due to the termination of grain import duties.
According to the media, Ukraine exported 529,000 tonnes of grain, including 415,000 tonnes of corn, 92,000 tonnes of wheat and 16,000 tonnes of barley from November 1-7.
Over the same period of October, 209,000 tonnes of grain was exported from the country whereby there were 147,000 tonnes of corn, 53,000 tonnes of wheat and 5,300 tonnes of barley.
