Russia's October poultry imports down

 

 

Russia's October poultry imports reached US$64.7 million, 35.6% less than the same period in 2010, the federal customs service reported Thursday (Nov 10).

 

The customs service did not give the volume of import in tonnages, only its worth in dollars.

 

The customs service said the value of poultry imported in October was 41.9% more than September this year.

 

Russia's pork imports in October were worth US$155.8 million, 10.6% less than October 2010 and 6.1% less than September this year.

 

Russia's beef imports in October were worth US$204.4 million, 8.4% more than October 2010 and 14% more than September this year.
