Australia on a seafood promotion drive in India

Australia is promoting seafood products to India during the 3-week long Australian Seafood and Wine Festival, which started last Wednesday (Nov 5, 2008).


The objective of the campaign was to create awareness of the quality of Australian seafood, said Trade Commissioner Michael Carter.


Austrade, which organised the Festival, hopes that the programme will be successful enough to increase exports to India.
