South Dakota's corn, soy estimates down
South Dakota's corn and soy crops estimates have each fallen 3% over the moth.
The latest figures from the USDA put the South Dakota corn crop at 648 million bushels, up 14% from last year. The state's soy crop is pegged at just less than 154 million bushels, down 2% from 2010.
The South Dakota sorghum crop is estimated at 5.3 million bushels, down 5% over the month but even with last year's level.
