Minh Phu Seafood posts export revenues of US$264.25 million

Minh Phu Seafood Corporation (MPC) earned US$264.25 million from exports in the first 10 months of this year, jumping 38% from the same period last year.

The company exported over 21,526 tonnes of shrimp during the period, up 19.6% on year, the media reported November 9.

The US remained the largest importer of MPC's shrimp, with an import value of US$101 million, followed by Japan with US$51 million, EU with US$36 million and South Korea with US$30 million.

An official of MPC said the company is likely to miss its target of export revenues at US$360 million this year due to the delaying operations of its factories.
