Taiwan Flour Millers Association purchases wheat from US

The Taiwan Flour Millers Association bought 52,850 tonnes of US Number.1 wheat from trading house Columbia Grain in a tender concluded late Wednesday, 29 October 2008.

The entire shipment will arrive in Taiwan between December 12 and December 26, 2008.

The cargo consists of 34,260 tonnes of Dark Northern Spring wheat to be supplied at US$337.11 / tonne, 11,710 tonnes of Hard Red Winter wheat at US$282.52 / tonne and 6,880 tonnes of Western White wheat at US$222.90 / tonnes.

All prices are on a free-on-board basis.
