China lifts ban on Polish products


Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao visiting Polish Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, that China is lifting a ban on the imports of food from Poland.


Donald Tusk addressed that this mainly concerns pork. However, Chinese politicians say they are ready to purchase Polish mining machines and launch cooperation on coal exploitation.


Polish PM Donald Tusk noted that they want to take care of the climate in such a way that environment protection does not result in a burden to coal-based industrial cultures. He has pledged an informal partnership on research and implementation of new technologies, more environment-friendly coal-usage and political partnership, China and Poland share the same climate-related problems.


According to Tusk, the talks held in Beijing have shown that China regards Poland as one of its top partners.
