Russia's net grain yield this year will reach 107-108 million tonnes, said the Russian Grain Union.
Grain carry-over stock is projected to reach 22 million tonnes as of July 1, 2009, while grain surplus may total 30 million tonnes.
Grain prices in Russia have now declined 70-80 percent against last year's. Third-class wheat costs about RUB 5,700 per tonne, down from RUB 8,700 in January 2008, while fodder grain has dropped to RUB 3,200 from RUB 7,800.
