110,000 MT Soy Sales Switched From Unknown To Thailand
The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced Monday that private exporters have switched the destination of previously reported sales of 110,000 metric tons of U.S. soybeans from unknown to Thailand. The delivery to Thailand will be in the 2003-04 marketing year.
The soybean marketing year began Sept. 1.
U.S. exporters are required to report to the USDA sales of 100,000 tons or more of soybeans made in the same day to the same destination by 1500 ET (2000 GMT) the next business day, according to the USDA's Foreign Agriculture Service. Any export sales under 100,000 tons must be reported on a weekly basis.
