Ukraine expected to become second largest exporter of grains
Ukraine is said to have all the necessary requirements to become the second largest exporter of grains in the world, according to Leonid Kozachenko, Chairman of the council of entrepreneurs.
Ukraine has the basis of the agricultural sector. Till date, Ukraine takes the third-fourth place in the world ratings of exports of these products. And, Ukraine has the potential to become the second, if traders can keep the current level, added Kozachenko.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, in 2011 Ukraine harvested 50 million tonnes of grains.
