Ukrainian soy production to exceed four million tonnes in 2015

Ukraine's soy has the potential to produce about 4.1 million tonnes of soy in 2015 compared to 1.7 million tonnes in 2010, according to Ukraine's President Viktor Tymchenko.

The soy market in Ukraine and in the world is very promising, Viktor Tymchenko, president of the Ukrainian association of producers and processors of soybeans, said.

Subject to livestock development in Ukraine and the high investment attractiveness, the demand for soy in this sector will be at least four million tonnes by 2015, the source said.
