Tyson completes new wastewater system for poultry plant
Tyson Foods has completed a new US$4.8 million wastewater pre-treatment system at its poultry processing facility at Monett, Missouri, US.
The new system includes two dissolved air flotation systems, an equalisation basin and additional equipment, allowing the company to “double-treat†its wastewater from the facility before it is sent to municipal treatment facilities.
The new system replaced the previous system that had been in use since 1969.
