Market analysis
AA broiler
Prices of AA broiler stabilised of late as slaughterhouses restocked depleting inventories. Prices moved higher marginally, averaging 0.86%.
Day-old chick prices continued to fall amid slack buying interest, settling in the range of RMB2.95-3.65/kg.
China breed broiler
Prices of China breed broiler rebounded almost 1% on average during the period in review, as sales increased after the live poultry markets reopened after the disinfection activities.
Nevertheless, the demand for day-old chicks remained weak, resulting in lower prices.

Broiler farmers are expected to stand firm on prices, which have dropped around 10% since August. However the market will lack momentum to rebound strongly amid sluggish demand for chicken products.
