GEA Food Solutions has installed two new poultry processing lines at Cargill's new integrated poultry operation in Lai’an, Anhui, China.

The two 1,000mm wide lines were delivered, installed, commissioned for EUR10 million (US$12.6 million) over a period of nine months. The first line processes nuggets at a rate of 30 tonnes per day, while the second processes boneless and bone-in poultry products.

Following the installation, Cargill delivered its first shipment of chicken nuggets from one of the new lines to McDonald's earlier this month.
