Ukraine produced 28,100 tonnes of grains in September, up 32 percent from August and up 4 percent on-year, according to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.

At the end of September, carryover stocks increased 12 percent from end of August to 7,300 tonnes.

During the three months of 2008/9 marketing year, Ukraine produced 68,400 tonnes of grains, down 1,200 tonnes on-year.
