Norel & Nature has recently finished the extension of their plant located in Valls, Tarrogona, Spain.

The newly built warehouse is nearly 4,000m2 large, has a storage capacity of 2,325 m3, and is the second part of the company's expansion programme.

Before this, Norel & Nature had also built a new tank of 1,300 MT for storage of palm fatty acid distillates (PFAD). The company plans to increase their storage site at the port of Barcelona next.

In anticipation of further investments, the company had also acquired some land, increasing the total area of the Valls factory to nearly 30,000m2 large.

Besides PFAD which are used in the production of MAGNAPAC (a digestible source of protected fat for ruminants and monogastrics) and other specialty fats, the Valls factory also produces organic trace minerals such as methionates (BIOMET range) and glycinates (GLYMET series), flavours and sweeteners, toxic binders and other specialties such as RUMALATO.

Based in Spain, Norel & Nature operates in over 50 countries worldwide and specialises in the rumen protected vegetable fat market. It also develops specific ranges of natural and nutritional products for swine, poultry and aquaculture.
